After years of making guitar pickups I've come to the conclusion that most players know exacly what they want. Rather than offer you an array of ever-so-slightly different variations on this classic design I thought it'd be best to let you pick and choose the exact specifications that you need to acheive your perfect sound.
 
Take complete control of your tone by building your perfect PAF style humbucker. To keep things vintage-spec long-legged baseplates with a 49.2mm string spacing will be paired with butyrate bobbins. 
 
Choose your preferred DC resistance output, magnet material and size, coil wire insulation material and bobbin/cover colour for a pickup that is truely one of a kind.
 
Wax-potting is not an option for PAF style humbuckers as the butyrate bobbins will warp if submerged in hot wax.
 
42-awg will be used and the maximum DC resistance output for a PAF build is 9.0kΩ
