After years of making guitar pickups I've come to the conclusion that most players know exacly what they want. Rather than offer you an array of ever-so-slightly different variations on this classic design I thought it'd be best to let you pick and choose the exact specifications that you need to acheive your perfect sound.

Select your ideal magnet strength, coil insulation, DC resistance output and level of wax-potting.

For outputs up to 8.0kΩ for neck position and 9.0kΩ for bridge position 42-awg coil wire will be used. For outputs exceeding these values 43-awg wire will be used.

Please do not allow total DC resistance output of live 1 + live 2 to exceed:

17.0kΩ for brige pickups

14.5kΩ for neck pickups

When selecting your level of wax-potting consider that a light potting means that the wax is kept away from the centre of the coil which will result in enhanced dynamics whereas a full potting soaks the entire coil with wax which will help prevent unwanted feedback when playing at high volume.

To ensure RWRP bridge pickups will read north up and will be wound anti-clockwise from earth to live. Neck pickups will read south up and be wound clockwise from earth to live. Leave a note if you would like to change any of these details.

If you are looking to purchase a set you will have to add a bridge and neck pickup to your basket seperately - choosing your neck pickup DC resistance output to be approx 15% lower than the bridge pickup output is recommended to create a balanced set.
